Binomial Cube
With the Binomial Cube, the child explores how the pieces relate to one another in terms of their dimensions, shapes, and colors. It is a puzzle that the child can tackle in stages of increasing challenge.
Constructive Triangles: 1st Rectangular Box
With the Constructive Triangles, the child explores how triangles relate to and can be the building blocks of other plane figures. The 1st Rectangular Box relates various types of triangles to various types of quadrilaterals, from squares to rhombi.
Cylinder Block No. 1
Cylinder Blocks are one of the most recognizable Montessori materials. Guidepost’s Cylinder Block No. 1 provides the child with practice at visual discrimination of size in that the height of the cylinders remains constant while the diameter decreases from thick to thin.
Fabrics Box
Guidepost’s Fabrics Box includes 6 pairs of different fabrics inside a wooden box with lid. Each fabric pair is a different color and pattern from the others and, by their nature, present contrasting textures.
